Marvelous Recipe Of Almond Milk:
I personally love almonds so I used to eat them often. I tried to make almond milk before but it tastes bland and I gave up trying. Now, my family loves almonds too so I bought some yesterday and tried making almond milk again.
It tastes totally different now!! And I can control what goes inside my drink, no more chemicals or sweeteners (stevia).
Below is the recipe that you can follow:
Step 1:
1/2 cup of almonds + 2 cups water = 1 serving (or more depending on how big your glass)
Step 2:
Soak the almonds for an hour in water then blend with 2 cups of water until smooth.
Step 3:
Pour out the mixture into a cheesecloth or cotton cloth and squeeze out excess liquid. Store in the fridge if not drinking immediately. Drink within 3 days.
I tried making more servings at one go, it turned out to be too thick for me. I think I wasted a lot of almonds squeezing the liquid into the cloth. If you want to make more servings, use more water instead of adding extra almonds.

Conclusion :
It is important to note that eating almonds does not lead to a high blood sugar spike. In fact, many people who follow a low-carb diet eat almonds as an alternative snack option because of their healthy fats and protein content. However, it’s still best to avoid overdoing the almond consumption if you are pregnant or diabetic. But for most everyone else? Enjoy!
If you are allergic to almonds, this should not stop you from eating the other types of nuts that can provide similar health benefits. Eating almonds is still a good idea if it’s just an allergy and not true food allergies because they contain many nutrients like protein, fiber, vitamin E, and healthy fats.
